DAY 1

Arrive early evening at the enchanting Le Meridien resort.

Dinner and briefing.

DAY 2

Morning:
Air-conditioned coach tour of Noumea's most scenic and historic sites.

Lunch:
French picnic.

Afternoon:
Escoffier School of Cooking.

Evening:
Degustation dinner at one of Noumea's best restaurants – presentation by sommelier and executive chef.

DAY 3

Morning:
At leisure – list of recommended activities provided.

Afternoon:
Comtesse du Barry – widely acclaimed throughout Europe –
tasting French food and wines ( selected from various regions of France) – presentation by Master of Wines.

Evening:
Degustation dinner at another of Noumea's best restaurants – presentation by sommelier and executive chef.

DAY 4

Morning:
Markets – with help from Escoffier School chef, purchase ingredients to be used in preparing meal at the school in the afternoon.

Maison Ballande – French food and wine specialists - tasting cheeses and wines (selected from various regions of France).

Afternoon:
Escoffier – cooking set meal using ingredients purchased at markets in the morning.

Evening:
Dinner at Escoffier School Restaurant – served own meal cooked earlier.

DAY 5

Free day – Optional day tours available to outer islands at additional cost.

Amedee Island
A superb 40 minute crossing of the lagoon in the Mary D takes you to a beautiful island planted with coconut palms. A 140 year old lighthouse (56m high) built under Napoleon III towers Over the unspoilt island with its sparkling lagoon and fine white sand. Tour includes buffet lunch with South Pacific entertainment, return boat transfers, hotel pick up and drop off, tour in glass bottom boat. Diving available with the Amedee Diving Club on the island for an additional cost.

ISLE OF PINES
Jewel amongst jewels, white powder sand beaches turquoise lagoon, stunning bays. Day tour includes return flights from Noumea with Air Calédonie plus transfers to and from the airport in Noumea, lunch at Le Meridien Ile de Pins.
